The Annual Overpass Reception for the riders taking part in the "Run for the Wall-Rolling Thunder" is due to pass through the Metro East on I-64 on  Tuesday, 23 May 2018.  The Overpass event is to show support for those making the trip to Washington DC in observance of Memorial Day, the day set aside to remember all those that have made the ultimate sacrifice to help preserve the freedoms that we enjoy every day.  It also is a day to remember the thousands of POW/MIA's that are still unaccounted for from all previous wars.  This the 15th year for the Overpass Reception so come out and show these riders, and their support staff, that we stand with them as they travel to our nation's Capital.  Hope to see you there.

Place:  Green Mount Rd overpass (at I-64)

Staging:  0830 hrs ( 8:30am)

The doors at Frieze HD will be open for us to use the facilities and catch a cup of coffee.

We will depart Frieze HD parking lot between  9:00 & 9:15am and ride to the overpass as a group..  The police will be at the overpass to block traffic for us.  Fire Dept ladder truck is also scheduled to be there for display of the large flag.
