These nine champions will now join the Fall Presidents Cup winners and select wild cards at the 2024 US Youth Soccer Midwest Presidents Cup in Sioux Fall, SD from June 14-18.
Like the State Cup, the Illinois Presidents Cup offers teams a statewide championship tournament that earns advancement into a US Youth Soccer Regional event which hopefully advances them to the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. To compare, the State Cup is the UEFA Champions League and the Presidents Cup is the Europa League. The Presidents Cup follows the same format as the State Cup, Group Play to Quarterfinals to Semifinals to Finals and although its second in the pyramid of state championship events, this is no second-rate tournament. Especially in Illinois. Illinois holds one of the largest Presidents Cup events and since US Youth Soccer launched the Presidents Cup in 2009, Illinois teams have proven to be a force to be reckoned with; winning 51 Midwest Presidents Cup titles and 25 National Presidents Cup championships.
Registration for the Fall Presidents Cup for 15U-19U Girls opens June 5.
