I want to share with you the tragic loss of our colleague and friend TRAVIS ENGLE.
Travis Engle has been a community activist, a volunteer for Boys & Girls Club of America, a Talent Agent and finally a Talent Manager in Los Angeles. He touched my life by applying for a position as a Talent Agent at my company, Affinity Artists Agency almost 15 years ago, back in 2008.
From the very beginning, Travis was a bright light in an often cynical industry. At the ripe young age of 23, he had the unbridled enthusiasm and stamina necessary to help push developmental actors up the Hollywood mountain.
Travis never flagged.
He was forever positive, smiling, ethical and kind. Travis truly cared about talent.
And likely, similar to you and I, he had the 'bug.' You know the one...that insidious 'illness' that forces you to work and keep pushing and sticking with an entertainment industry that may not be immediately rewarding.
Travis was a tireless supporter of the men and women, young and old, from all backgrounds, who chose the high stakes gamble of a career in showbiz.
Travis was that guy we all know whom you want to invite to the party. His easy smile and humorous perspective had a way of making any journey that much easier to walk.
He would be that kid who, if you put him in a room with horse droppings, would be smiling because he would just KNOW there's a pony around there somewhere!
Travis had a sudden cardiac arrest and passed away on February 14, 2022 Valentines Day.
He was at home with his wife and 4 year old daughter.
Travis worked at Affinity Artists Agency, Studio Talent Group, and Trinity Artists International.
If you worked with Travis Engle while he was at these entertainment companies, please take a moment to donate to GOFUNDME PAGE set up for his wife and daughter he has left far too early.
No donation is too small.
In honor of Travis, his wife and daughter, we thank you!
