If I Got Jesus!!! 6/23/24
Psalm 124:1-8 (ASV)
1 If it had not been Jehovah who was on our side, Let Israel now say,
2 If it had not been Jehovah who was on our side, When men rose up against us;
3 Then they had swallowed us up alive, When their wrath was kindled against us;
4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, The stream had gone over our soul;
5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6 Blessed be Jehovah, Who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: The snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.

AMEN AND AMEN-That is all one needs to KNOW!!!
In my LATE night perusals of short videos on FB, I STUMBLED upon an intriguing song I had never heard before:

Unbeknownst to me, the song spoke deep in my spirit as to my PRESENT revelation of understanding the IMPORTANCE-IN FACT NECESSITY- of PRAYER!!!!!!!!!!!
Increasingly I am discovering my ineptness of physical activity and effort!!
As a fellow Pastor bewailed on FB this week-
“THE OLD GRAY MARE SHE AIN'T WHAT SHE USED TO BE!!!!!”
More and more daily do I NOW realize and more fully understand MY inability to effect CHANGE in my life and the lives of those whom I love and care about!!
More and more daily do I NOW realize and more fully understand MY inability to effect CHANGE in political outcome and changes in society.
More and more daily do I NOW realize and more fully understand that I/WE need Jesus!
I find myself NOW spending whole days and many hours in the wee of the night READING my Bible AND................................
PRAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
