Idaho State University to Offer Bachelor’s in Software Engineering Starting Fall 2024

Idaho State University will soon offer a degree in one of the nation’s fastest-growing fields. Starting in Fall 2024, the Department of Computer Science will offer a bachelor’s degree in software engineering. Compared to the current bachelor's degrees in computer science and computer engineering, the software engineering degree path will emphasize software development skills and programming while requiring students to take fewer math courses.

Associate Professor Kellee Kirkpatrick Appointed AP Chief Reader

Idaho State University's Associate Professor of Political Science, Kellee Kirkpatrick, Phd, has been appointed to the esteemed position of Advanced Placement (AP) Chief Reader. Kirkpatrick teaches American politics and public policy and is in her 10th year at ISU. As Chief AP Reader, she plays a pivotal role in evaluating the academic skills of high school students across the nation.
