Laura Ahola-Young Named Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs

Ahola-Young has been a faculty member at ISU since 2013 and was a key member of the faculty group that drafted the ISU Faculty Constitution. She is known across campus for her work in building a supportive environment for the advancement of faculty and students. She begins on July 8, replacing Karen Appleby in this role.

Idaho Hispanic/American Indian Healthcare Conference

The Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs will host the 2nd Annual Hispanic/American Indian Healthcare Conference at Idaho State University July 8 and 9. The registration fee is $50, and limited scholarships are available. The ICHA will waive the registration fee for all students wishing to attend.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
