ISU and The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights Partner to Provide Professional Development Courses to K-12 Educators Nationwide

The Albion Center for Professional Development, housed in the College of Education has announced a new five-year partnership with The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights in Boise, Idaho to develop and offer a series of professional development courses tailored for K-12 educators in Idaho and nationwide. These courses will emphasize human rights, including Holocaust education, equipping educators with tools and resources to introduce and teach these critical topics in their classrooms.

In May 2024, ISU music professors Dr. Patrick Young and Mark Neiwirth released their solo tuba and piano album, "Counting Rests," which has just received two silver medals from the Global Music Awards under categories: instrumental performance and creativity/originality.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
