Institute of Rural Health Awarded $402,996 to Host Annual Service Day Events

The Institute of Rural Health (IRH) has received a grant of $402,996 from AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism. The grant will expand the IRH’s presence throughout Idaho where it has provided services to improve the health of communities through research, education, and service since 1989.

ISU Launches Spanish for Heritage Speakers and Foreign Language Vertical Credit System

The Department of Anthropology and Languages at Idaho State University is pleased to announce the introduction of a new undergraduate course, SPAN 2221: Spanish for Heritage Speakers, to be taught by Assistant Professor Jose Eduardo Villalobos Graillet.

Faculty and staff from ISU's Meridian campus sponsored the recent Meridian Dairy Days, showcasing programs and clinics there. Meridian Dairy Days has a long history of representing the dairy industry in all of Idaho, and has evolved over the years to include more of the community outside of the dairy industry.
