Students, Idaho State-Civic Symphony, Promote Album with Latin Grammy Award Winner

Members of ISU’s Communication, Media, and Persuasion department are partnering with the Idaho State-Civic Symphony to promote the symphony’s upcoming album with Latin Grammy Award winner Pedro Giraudo and his Quartet.  

The group will execute a public relations campaign for the symphony’s April 26 performance and the album, which will be released this fall.

ISU Hosts Annual Rocky Mountain Welding Shootout

The Rocky Mountain Shootout at Idaho State University marked a record-breaking year Thursday, with the highest participation in its over 25-year history. Hosted at the William M. and Karin A. Eames Advanced Technical Education and Innovation Complex, the event drew 128 students from 26 high schools, competing for more than $15,000 in prizes.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
