Rutgers Day Makes a Comeback 

Rutgers Day, one of the state's landmark spring events, drew crowds to New Brunswick and Piscataway on Saturday for the first time since the pandemic forced the activities to move online two years ago. Thousands of visitors came to enjoy over 500 activities and programs.

ITGA's Campus and Community Day

The Stony Brook University football team visited with students at an elementary school and handed out Easter Hams. St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota, showcased their Healthy Food + Healthy Living Program at a local farmers' market. From Oregon to Clemson - many were part of the #CampusandCommunityDay.

Housing Shortage, Soaring Rents Squeeze U.S. College Students 

College students across the U.S. are looking for housing for the 2022-23 school year. Nationally, 43% of students at four-year universities experienced housing insecurities in 2020, up from 35% in 2019 according to an annual survey.

A group of students, staff, faculty and alumni at the University of Waterloo is recommending changes to school administration to help address systemic racism across campus. Last week, the President's Anti-Racism Taskforce (PART) released the report.

City Improvements: An Update from Clemson's Mayor 

City of Clemson's Mayor Robert Halfacre provided an update on the city's plans to improve downtown Clemson in the upcoming year, addressing concerns related to growth during an April Student Senate meeting.
