Housing Access in Communities Hosting Higher Education Institutions
Communities worldwide are struggling with housing uncertainty and affordability, and those hosting higher education institutions navigate these identical challenges. To better understand the needs and challenges of stakeholders at higher education institutions and in their host communities, ITGA is partnering with the National League of Cities, along with other town gown associations from around the globe, on a housing survey. The DLR Group, an active ITGA member with integrated firm planning and design leadership experience is utilizing its global research expertise to provide survey support. The survey closes March 5th.

The Certificate in Town Gown Relations Program Launches in March
ITGA is once again offering the Certificate in Town Gown Relations program beginning March 20-April 24, 11:00am-1:00pm (ET). The six-weeks virtual program helps stakeholders address the complex challenges and processes associated with city and university relationships and promotes the skills necessary for effective development of collaborative partnerships and alliances throughout college towns. Welcome New Co-Chair of the Racial Justice and Equity Committee
Chiluvya Zula, Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at the Borough of State College, is co-chairing ITGA's Racial, Justice and Equity Committee. She replaced Dr. Nicole Prewitt, who has been serving in this capacity with Summur Roberts.
