Dawson College Student Started Recycling Program for Masks

Nathan McDonald, a 19-year-old student at Dawson contacted Go Zero in the Eastern Township that recycles procedural masks. Dawson College agreed to invest $1,000 and the student union chipped in $2,500. They have recycled over 20,000 masks.

CU Boulder Police Join Pac-12 Pledge to Recruit More Female Officers

The new recruitment video is part of the department's ongoing efforts to diversify its roster, as CU Boulder police joined other agencies at Pac-12 schools to increase female police recruits to 30% by the year 2030.

Lakehead University Launches Tuition Waiver for Youth in Care

Lakehead University has joined a growing initiative to support access to postsecondary education for youth in foster care. The university will cover tuition for two new students annually, beginning in 2022 through the four-year undergraduate program.
