U of T Professor Gives Extra Credit for Helping Others

When Jerry Flores's students at the University of Toronto Mississauga ask for extra credit, the assignment is simple: Help somebody. Inspired by a student's request for bonus marks several years ago, Flores recently held the Extra Credit Donation Drive.

Results from an employee housing survey conducted last year show that Colorado State University needs to continue strengthening efforts to make housing more affordable if it wants to retain high-quality faculty and staff.

60% of UK Academics Set to Quit Within 5 years - Survey

The findings appear in a new report from the University and College Union titled UK Higher Education: A workforce in crisis. They are based on a survey of almost 7,000 university staff at over 100 UK higher education institutions, conducted 25 Feb-2 March.
