We look forward to welcoming you to ISW INDIA DAY at the ISW India Center. We have a packed program with something for everyone. In addition to dance and music cultural performances, we have added opportunities to network and connect professionally, an in-person art competition as well as a chess competition for different age groups. And let's not forget the lip smacking food and vendor tables. There is still time to register for the events, the cultural programs and to place an ad in the brochure. ISW University Summer Camp: QI (key) Organization & Time Management for Middle Schoolers

ISW University: Learn to program a robot with LEGO Mindstorms
10 weekly sessions beginning August 17th, 2021, 4 pm
4th to 7th Grade
Learn the basics of EV3’s, program a robot with the LEGO Mindstorms programming app using Scratch. Develop strategic and innovative uses for your robot. Previous knowledge of Lego Robotics is not required. Taught by two Lego Robotics state award winners

ISW University Tutoring: Preparing for the upcoming academic year.
July 19 (6 sessions, schedule determined by Tutor and parent)
Prepare your child for the upcoming academic year. Math, English, Spanish, French, Speech & Debate and many more. Tutor and Tutee will meet via zoom once a week for 6 sessions. Palatable Pickles - achaar making workshop
by Sarita Deshpande
Reeta Tandon, Suchitra Agrawal and Neena Sehgal demonstrated three varieties of pickles to a rapt audience at ISW Symphony's Culinary Arts first Achaar Making Workshop at the India Center. The pickles ranged from a sweet and sour mango pickle, a green chilli pickle and a carrots, cauliflower and turnip sweet and sour pickle. The audience of over 25 attendees really appreciated the savory results. Look out for the next in the series on "South Indian Achaars". Till then, Keep Cooking! Click here for more info.

Registration for in person classes for the next session from September 2021 to May 2022 is now open. To register, please login with the email id used when you setup your membership. ISW's FREE HealthStop, held in partnership with IMANE, is now open for in-person visits at the ISW India Center. Available to anyone regardless of their financial, immigration and insurance status. Not limited to the Indian Community. Walk-ins welcome, no appointment needed

ISW COMMUNITY NEWS
StoryWalk @ Lake Street Park, Shrewsbury
Arathi & Ashish Cowlagi, Ruchi Chauhan
ISW, in collaboration with the Shrewsbury Library and Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation Dept., helped install StoryWalk at the Lake Street Park, a unique installation that distributed individual pages from the Hindi storybook, Malli by Jeeva Raghunath, across the park. People can wander across reading the story or scan a QR code to hear it read to them in either English or Hindi. ISW hopes to add more languages to highlight the languages taught in the ISW Cultural and Language School. Details on the ISW website.

PEN July Meetup Recap
The ISW PEN July Meetup was a great success with 25+ attendees who heard serial entrepreneur Venkat Kolluri, founder Chitika and Cidewalk, speak of his entrepreneurial journey and the importance of marketing. Kelly Mittal, Founder & CEO, MyKidzDay moderated the session. Abhas Jain, Principal, MyKidzDay led the audience on a Elevator Pitch workshop on refining their business pitch. PEN will hold a regular Meetup every Second Saturday at 11:00 am at the ISW India Center.
