I would like to thank the ISW Community for their support in electing me and the new Executive Board for 2021-22. This is an exciting time to lead ISW forward in its next chapter of community engagement. Thanks to the commitment and hard work of the past Board and office holders, and in particular, past president Ashish Cowlagi, we are close to completing a new and beautiful community center. The center will provide an expanded base for the community and create a true year-round asset that is open to all. We are actively planning four new initiatives that will add to our existing activities and take advantage of the enhanced facilities. We look for your engagement and inputs as we launch them.
Please look out for further announcements and details on the opening of the center and the exciting new plans we have in store for you. As always, I am available via email at president@iswonline.org and look forward to hearing from you.
Puneet Kohli, President ISW

ISW Harvest Festival 2021 Recap
|
by Amrita Rao
On Sat, Feb 13, 2021, we kicked off the first major event of the ISW calendar year – The Harvest Festival. And what a great way to start!! This was our way of beginning the new year with positivity, prosperity and happiness. For obvious reasons, we could not gather in person as in previous years. However, we invited the extended ISW community to come participate in the cultural event and dance competition virtually. And it was met with tremendous interest. The program ran for more than 3 hours and consisted of 35 performances ranging from Indian classical dances to semi classical dances interspersed with Bollywood medleys, poem recitations and even a very lively debate. Click here to see the winners of the dance contest and links to the performances in case you missed it.
