GCR Awards
17 Scholarships
The ISRI Gulf Coast Region has selected 17 students as winners in its annual scholarship program. Each student will receive $2,000 to apply toward tuition at any accredited educational institution designed to meet the requirements for an academic, professional, or occupational degree for the 2022-2023 academic year.
This year’s scholarship winners, along with their sponsoring ISRI/Gulf Coast Region member company/location and the school they will attend, are as follows:

Bryan Ora, Missouri Metals (St. Louis); Missouri Southern State University
Hunter Price, Metal Recycling Corp. (Little Rock, Arkansas); University of Central Arkansas
The long-running Gulf Coast Region scholarship program operates under the auspices of the Recycling Research and Education Foundation’s William A. Bushman Memorial Scholarship Fund. The region raises funds for the scholarship program through an annual golf tournament and direct donations.
