Fantastic educational sessions were held throughout the day, along with panel discussions and workshops; the Career Development Center featured a resume workshop, interview skills panel, and opportunities for conversations between job hunters and companies searching for their next great employee. An after-party followed, with lavish foods and beverages, live music, and raffles! 100% of all raffle dollars collected was donated to the Baltimore Key Bridge Rebuild Project. Ever notice how critical environments chug energy like it’s happy hour? They use three times more than your average buildings! Sixty percent of that is just for heating, cooling, and moving air—like your building’s hosting an air rave.
Cutting that air-moving energy is like hitting the jackpot. And why is it critical? We're talking about places with immunocompromised patients, chemical labs, and infectious diseases—where you don’t want the AC to nap.
Engineers have two big jobs: keeping it safe and managing sky-high energy bills. Easy? Nope!
Now, get ready for some fantastic news! ISPE’s Chesapeake Bay Area and Southwest Chapters present “Cross Country Cool! Critical Cooling in these DOG DAYS!” with Eric Griffith from Critical Air Technologies. It’ll be fun and engaging.
