The 2024 CAPhO Hybrid Conference, presented by the Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology (CAPhO), will take place from April 11 to 14, 2024 at the Marriott Beausejour in Moncton, New Brunswick.

The Oral Chemotherapy Management (OCM) Workshop will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 12:30 to 16:30 in conjunction with the Conference.

The Conference program is developed around the theme of Rising Tides Lift All Boats: Partnering to Advance Oncology Pharmacy. The Bay of Fundy, located between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, boasts the highest tides in the world because of an unusual combination of resonance and the shape of the bay, with the difference between high and low tide measuring up to 12 metres! Oncology pharmacy practitioners continue to make strides in advancing practice, but the downstream effect from the COVID pandemic has posed challenges, much like the highs and lows of the Bay of Fundy tides. Oncology pharmacy professionals will continue to work together to advance practice and ensure equity in care to all patients with cancer. Much like the rising tides lifting a small fishing boat, our joint efforts will support each other to advance the knowledge and strategies to take charge, make impactful changes, and improve patient care, all while supporting healthcare provider wellness.

Visit the Conference website for information on the program, registration and venue and accommodation. Also, be sure to sign up for the CAPhO E-Newsletter to receive automatic updates about the Conference.
