The homily, "Is Formal Religion alive and well living in a Material World?" will be presented by Rev. Maggie Kilbride
and our Emcee for the service will be Rev. Story Ducey
Guided Meditation & Psychic Readings for some audience members are part of our service.
Following the service at 12:00 pm will be ISD Oneonta's Annual Convention (on the same Zoom link).

We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Renee Ranke, who is finishing her last newsletter today. Renee has been keeping many balls in the air since 2019, when she took over as newsletter editor from Rev. Sue Landon when Sue became too ill to do it. I think you’ll agree that she has done a beautiful job on a visually appealing newsletter that keeps everyone in the know, and entertained at the same time! She has gone above and beyond on all the many ways she has been of service to ISD Oneonta! Renee is stepping down as the “Office Manager”, and one of ISD Oneonta’s Co-Directors, but maintaining her presence as Director of the Intuitive Practitioner Program, an active minister, Co-Chair of Adult Education, and faculty member. Rev. Amanda Hoover will take over as the sole ISD Oneonta Director for now. Welcome to Carla Finn, who is enthusiastically trying her hand at creating the newsletter, and learning the ropes from Diana & Renee. The Swing of the Pendulum for Life Decisions
Dowsing with a pendulum, is one of the oldest forms of divination. It allows you to tune in to subtle universal energies for guidance. In Part I of this class, Judy Lynn brings you closer to your pendulum with a greater understanding of how it best works for you. In Part II Renee Ranke leads you on a journey to discover your own internal pendulum.

Chakras: The Spiritual Growth Highway
Chakras form our energy anatomy. When clear of blockages, they keep us healthy and balanced. JoAnn Wormuth, Master Energy Healer, leads us to discover the meaning and purpose of each chakra. We will learn to address & clear any impurities in our own energy system. There will be energy exercises & as well as self-discovery and healing meditations.

Sing Yourself Home: a soulful singing retreat
We are delighted to announce this long-awaited chance to sing together in person, in this soulful singing retreat, in honor of Earth Day. Chelsea Frisbee, certified coach, spiritual mentor, and writer leads us in this day of relaxation & sacred renewal. Singing opens our hearts, invites connection to the divine & deepens us into community together. Let your own voice lead you into beauty and inquiry through this community spiritual practice that binds our hearts and voices together.

IET Healing Angels of the Energy Field
This is an in-person class with a limit of 10 participants....so register soon!
This amazing in-person workshop is for anyone who loves angels. Under the guidance of Integrated Energy Therapy© Instructor, and ISD Oneonta's Healing Program Director, JoAnn Wormuth.
You will learn how to energetically connect with nine healing angels, and develop a relationship with them which will assist you in your personal transformation.
Students will be provided with The Healing Angels of the Energy Field workbook to support their learning experience. Certificate of Completion will be granted.

Self-care for Lightworkers
Join Rev. Melinda Witter, ISD-TC, for a mission critical journey into Self-Care for Lightworkers and Healthcare workers.
As healers and lightworkers, we often put the needs of others before our own physical, mental and spiritual health and well-being. In this three-part series, we will explore the multitude of tools and practices to boost our self-care and have an abundance of resources to share with others.
This course is a requirement for ISD's Intuitive Practitioner Certificate Program, and for the Healing Practitioner Certificate Program, but is open to anyone at all levels of interest and development

FORECAST (Mar 31 - April 6)
Aries takes center stage now as the world quickens around us. Some characteristics of Aries are: Fire element, Ruler is Mars, Competitive, Action Oriented, Beginning of Zodiac Wheel, and it is a Personal sign.
The month of April is very active. The first New Moon is on April 1st. The Full Moon is on the 17th EST in Libra. A Solar eclipse in Taurus falls on Saturday, April 30th that is also a Black Moon. There are (7) seven sign changes and finally, a retrograde beginning late month. Busy indeed.
The feature aspect this week is the New Moon in Aries on Friday, April 1st. New Moons are the delineation between the end of a cycle and the promising beginning of the next. A Spring season New Moon is especially invigorating as it falls in action oriented Aries. The Fire element increases, as does the Sun in our Northern Hemisphere. The ruler of the day of the week of the alignment is Venus, which lends potential beauty and grace to any activities. This particular day has many conjunctions that add to it's significance:
MARS, SATURN, JUNO, VENUS conjunct from 19° - 25° Aquarius. This combination encourages evaluation and mature expression in relationships, particularly between women and men. JUPITER and NEPTUNE from 21°
- 23° Pisces. This can add imagination and psychic ability to new ventures.
MERCURY, SUN, MOON, CHIRON from 9° - 12° Aries. Deep healing of core, personal wounds, that we then project out onto the world stage, is possible now.
The concentrated Bowl formation of the planets continues. This adds focused intensity. You have all these rich combinations of energies and archetypes working on your behalf now. The growth potential is immense. The annual pace quickens. The Aries Sun season is personal. It is your talents, actions, and ambitions working on your behalf. The ultimate condition of our collective is a reflection of our individual selves. We have another chance to be our best Soul infused expression.
This truth always creates the best way forward. Change your mind, change yourself, change your world. The richer, more loving our emanations out into our environment are, the more beautiful our world and universe becomes. We can each make a difference.
Venus moves into Pisces on the 5th. Venus is exalted in Pisces which means she can reach the highest expression and potential. Love is at its highest, purist form here. There is deep compassion, sympathy, and understanding of love and life in this placement. We have no better opportunity
to send immense, unconditional love out to all beings everywhere at this time.
I ask you once again. Does this seem accidental to you that during these intense days of world conflict that the planets in our Solar System would combine together in this amazing way to lend all of their strength for our benefit? Friendship comes in many forms. I encourage you to recognize friendship when it is presented to you.
Each of the planets has a "Logos" in addition to its archetype. In this context, that means, a personality, a divine presence. They are part of our experience. Who among us does not look up to the night sky for support. That is the friendship they offer you. Hands are held out offering assistance. Please accept it. I think you will not be sorry you did. All life everywhere will rejoice as you approach your Godspeed.

Each day at 5 PM EST, we will pause for about 10 minutes and meditate and pray with the intention of sending healing energy to all.

What is the Institute for Spiritual Development?
It's both a metaphysical church and an educational center originally founded 40 yrs ago in Sparta, NJ. With the belief that all paths lead us Home, ISD is dedicated to helping each spirit walk their path with courage and joy.

The Oneonta NY chapter of ISD was Lovingly created by Rev. Diana Friedell & her sister Rev. Sue Landon. We are now led by a powerful leadership team, and executive board.
ISD is a spiritual community that focuses on healing and intuitive connection, and the joy of finding the spirit connection within rather than being told how it should or could be experienced.
We welcome those who want to belong to a spiritual group of like-minded people, in which you can explore and find your own path in a community of love and support.
There are classes, services, events, and a sense of community and fellowship. Energy healing and intuitive messages are delivered as a regular part of the worship service.
