Student Attrition Returning to Pre-Pandemic Levels

The chart below from NAIS' DASL shows trends in student attrition across all three types of schools - elementary, secondary, and elementary - secondary. All schools are seeing declines in their student attrition rates after peaking in the '20 - '21 year. Elementary schools experienced a significantly higher attrition rate during COVID than other types of schools and they continue to have a higher overall attrition rate (11%) than secondary (5.1%) and elementary - secondary schools (7.5%).

Have you looked at the attrition data from your school for this year? How does it compare to national trends and averages? How does this year compare to your own school's multi-year trends?
