| | The 2024 ISBNPA conference co-organized by the Center for Nutrition and Health Impact and ISBNPA was an incredible experience. As a recent PhD graduate, I was looking forward to networking with other researchers and ISBNPA provided me with an opportunity to not just make new connections but also learn about some meaningful research work ongoing in the field of behavioral nutrition and physical activity. One of the throughlines for ECE-related research was the emphasis on the need for parents and ECE providers to work in partnerships for establishing optimal child health behaviors. Moreover, researchers discussed logistical challenges and different ways to implement effective recruitment and implementation strategies, a much-needed conversation and knowledge exchange. A huge shoutout to the NESI team for making extra efforts to make students’ and ECRs’ experience worthwhile by organizing social networking activities, walks around Omaha, and other events. Overall, this was another successful year for ISBNPA and I am thrilled to attend the next one.
