A Special Thank You to the IREM MD DEI Committee!

The IREM Maryland Chapter created a DEI Committee after recognizing the need for more education and the understanding within our diverse community. We continue to grow our committee as more people realize that DEI initiatives are crucial to growth, patience, and understanding of our differences.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our committee members for their unwavering dedication and hard work in advancing out DEI mission. Your commitment has been instrumental in fostering a more inclusive and equitable environment within IREM Maryland Chapter and our communities.

Your passion for promoting DEI enhances our industry and sets a powerful example for others to follow.

Thank you for your continuous support, collaboration, and enthusiasm. Together, we are making meaningful strides towards a more inclusive and supportive community. I look forward to our continued work together and the positive changes we will achieve.

The IREM Maryland Chapter 16 recognizes that there is strength in diversity and is committed to cultivating and promoting an ethical culture where differences are celebrated. We are committed to ensuring that members, industry partners, staff, and guests are valued, respected, and provided access to opportunities regardless of race, age, gender identities, sexual orientation, creed, national origin and/or (dis)abilities. Discrimination and inequality are not acceptable; therefore, we encourage all members to listen and learn as we take this journey together and provide ongoing support to disassemble systemic discrimination.
