IPH Center UK Faculty Affiliate News

Thank you so much to the 25 UK faculty who completed our survey to inform the role of IPH Center UK faculty affiliates! Survey responses indicated that learning about research speaker events, receiving a research newsletter, and being invited to provide content area and methodological expertise to IPH Center research initiatives on a quarterly basis were of the most interest. Additional UK faculty affiliate programming based on your feedback is in development. In the meantime, please see below for information about an IPH Center research seminar next Tuesday the 14th, a call for future research speakers, and publication news.

The next IPH Bomb has dropped!

This one goes to the core of how we set up helping programs. Although many of us talk about 'individualizing' care that of course is not a good idea. If everyone were completely different, we couldn't learn, the experience wouldn't matter, and there would be no such thing as evidence-based practice. Sadly, however, most helping programs are actually designed from the other extreme mass production. This is off-putting and not likely to assist in engagement.
