JANET'S CORNER
WHAT IS NEW IN THE BOOKSTORE?
I am always excited to provide new curriculum that the homeschool community desires! This month we have added three science options that we hope you will enjoy!

Several times each month we are asked if we carry God’s Design Science by MasterBooks? We are so happy that we can finally answer with a resounding YES! Masterbooks is now allowing retailers to sell them new in store. Come in today to see this great curriculum.
CHSRC carries Dr. Jay Wile’s acclaimed series of science books printed by Berean Builders. The popular hands-on, multilevel elementary series introduces scientific concepts using history as its guide. We are happy to announce that we now carry the all new workbooks that complement the texts.
Are you looking for a great middle school science curriculum? Not to worry. We are proud to offer the newly released Berean Builders Science in the Atomic Age. This laboratory-based, middle school science course covers a wide range of topics that are of interest to modern scientists.
Come in today (Tuesday-Friday, 10:00-3:00)! We look forward to seeing you!

THE PRESIDENT'S VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity.

This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too

CHSRC is proud to be a certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award program. Recipients can receive an official lapel pin, personalized certificate of achievement, and a congratulatory letter from the president of the United States. Volunteer hours are also a great addition to your high school transcript.

Criteria for Recognition
  • Awards will be earned based upon eligible volunteer service during the 12 month period beginning September 1st and ending on August 31st each year.
  • Volunteer service must be documented through the CHSRC administrator.
  • Volunteers with specific service goals are urged to check their hours regularly.
  • Court-ordered community service does not qualify for this award.

...AND SO MUCH MORE!
SO MANY WAYS TO SUPPORT CHSRC
Your donation of used curriculum or books is indispensable to the survival of CHSRC as it helps us defer the costs of having a physical bookstore location where homeschooling families go to receive important information and encouragement at no cost to them.

It is amazing to see how God works at CHSRC!

CHSRC is a non-profit run by non-paid board members, and a small staff of dedicated employees.

The sale of donated used curriculum is the main source of income that allows CHSRC to keep our doors open!

By donating your curriculum, you not only allow us to remain solvent, but you also bless many homeschooling families as they are able to find a large selection of nicely discounted books, all in one place. The ability to combine new curriculum with used curriculum saves homeschooling parents lots of $$.
Thank you for your support by choosing
