About Us

Impact100 Metro Detroit is a 501(c)(3) collective giving organization focused on awarding high-impact grants to nonprofit organizations in Metro Detroit. Since we formed in 2015, we have awarded over $1.4 million in grants.

What We Do

We award high-impact transformational grants to local nonprofit organizations for projects serving Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County. Our grant funding comes from collecting a $1,000 annual donation from each member. Our members participate directly in the philanthropic process by serving on grant review committees and voting on which applicants’ projects will be awarded a grant.

Our high-impact grants are typically awarded in increments of $100,000. In May of 2023, we awarded $281,000 with two $100,000 grants, and the remaining was split between the three finalists.

We are looking for projects that fund new programs, the expansion of existing programs, or new or expanded collaborations. We recognize the valuable work being done by our nonprofit community day in and day out. However, our intention for this grant is to help nonprofits DREAM BIG with new and innovative ideas that will impact the organization and community for years to come.
