PCC Online Courses Beginning Fall 2023

Dear International Students,

Beginning in Fall 2023, PCC will return to the pre-COVID U.S. government regulations for online courses. All F-1 international students must register in a majority of in-person courses, or courses with an in-person component.

ESOL Students
CLASSES
  • Starting Fall 2023 term, F-1 international students with an ESOL I-20 must be enrolled in 12 credits of courses all with an in-person component. Only courses in addition to the 12 credit minimum are allowed to be taken online.

NUMBER OF CREDITS
  • F-1 international students in the ESOL program are required to take a minimum of 12 credits to maintain status (unless otherwise approved by the SEVIS Coordinator).
Academic Students
CLASSES
  • Starting Fall 2023 term, F-1 international students with an Associate I-20 must be enrolled in at least 9 credits of courses with an in-person component. Only 3 credits of online courses can count to the minimum 12 credits you must take each term.

PCC PROGRAMS
  • The following programs will be difficult to complete at PCC because there are insufficient in-person course offerings. We can help to recommend alternative programs for you, but tell us if you prefer to transfer to another college or university, and we can provide you with the steps on how to transfer.
