Make City tenant Farmer's Fridge has expanded and can now be found in Chicagoland Jewel Osco and Target stores! Farmer's Fridge's salads, bowls, and snacks can now be purchased through their vending machines, stores, and delivery program available to 17 states. Learn more.
Metric Coffee, whose Metric West Fulton cafe is housed in Make City, recently introduced their first-ever line of Metric branded 12 ounce Cold Brew Coffee cans. The Cold Brew Coffee can be purchased now at their cafe at 2021 W. Fulton, which is open 7 AM - 4 PM everyday.

The Garfield Park Neighborhood Market will return this weekend June 12th from 10 AM - 2 PM on the plaza of The Hatchery, 135 N. Kedzie! The Market sells hyper-local produce grown in community gardens in the Garfield Park Garden Network and products made by West Side Entrepreneurs and members of The Hatchery. Learn more.

Throughout 2020, a year unlike any other, we were inspired by the resilience and innovation of the small businesses housed in our Make City incubator and at The Hatchery, and by the people in our wider community here on the West Side. Our primary focus turned to supporting small businesses through the pandemic and mitigating the impact of it.

We are pleased to present ICNC’s 2020 Annual Report to share the ways that our organization and the West Side small business community navigated 2020. We wish you a healthy and successful 2021, and look forward to working with and supporting each of you throughout the course of it.

ICNC's Make City incubator offers a thriving entrepreneurial community and immediate access to ICNC's advising, export, and advocacy services alongside 100 other small, modern urban manufacturing businesses. The Hatchery is a non-profit food and beverage incubator dedicated to helping local entrepreneurs build and grow successful businesses through cutting-edge kitchen facilities, entrepreneurship curriculum, partnerships with generous corporate sponsors and foundations to create local job opportunities and accelerate local economic growth.
