The French Butterfly....

As mentioned to you I checked with my resource and got the last of their stock of this piece, which was very popular at our site previously....find it here:

http://www.bsueboutiques.com/product-p/rare02683.htm

I have FIFTY and that's all there will be, so if you want some, better come on over.

There WILL be a cast version of it available before too long, and you will enjoy that one too!   But this one is the REAL DEAL, the old one.

VICTORIAN BRIDES....

Well guys...it's JUNE and that means we have begun the June challenge at the Creative Group

Will you join us?   You can make a whole set of bridal jewelry or a small line of earrings in Victorian, Steampunk, Boho or Glam styles!

Here is a collage of Victorian ideas....

I love the Victorian tussie mussies, such a pretty idea!    Many are focusing on pearl and silver, but go outside the lines!

What about a black and white wedding?

What about designing Victorian style men's wedding jewelry....or Steampunk wedding jewelry for men?

What about styling for a hippie chic affair (Boho)

In the above collage of Victorian ideas, what do you think of the choker made with flowers?   Those are real flowers, not very practical, I don't think!   But some lovely old milliner's flowers and some bits from B'sue Boutiques would be simply STUNNING!

If you happen to find an old sterling one, you have quite a treasure.

I really favor the Steampunk bouquet idea I shared a few weeks back....it was in this collage:

Steampunk and Victorian looks share some common ground as they are virtually the same era......except Steampunk is late Victorian with an industrial, edgy twist.

As we continue to take the shop down we've been coming upon little treasures....some we've sold off on the Facebook group as little souvenirs for very little money, and some we kept.

Lauren found this funky little hat today:

This could go very Steampunk and she's thinking about it, maybe joining us to do a little something.

It will be a tad bit of a stretch as there's a ton going on here with the move this month, but maybe we'll just have to carve a little time out before good old John gets over here and starts taking the workshop set apart to move it to its new place.

Someone asked about our sign:

Oh NO we are NOT done with that sign.

Jordan suggested we hang it up proudly in our repainted and reorganized new shipping area and enjoy it as part of our lighting!

B'sue Boutiques is not going away.....it's wherever B'sue and the crew are, that's where B'sue Boutiques is....connected to the internet, visiting with you every day at the groups, in emails, and via You Tube!

So....say!  if you happen to be over this way on Saturday, we will be having our shop 'Yard Sale'.....jewelry, some books, linens, lamps, small pieces of furniture, teapots!   floral arrangements and just lots of pretty, pretty, pretty things at prices meant to SELL.

We did take the map chest home and my full length mannequin, as well as the mannequin head with the floral floppy brim hat this morning.

Jordan commented,

"Mom, this place looks a lot more like home!"

It is and it will be....we'll soon all be there working more efficiently for YOU!

I will also be setting up the arrangements for next year's workshop.  And, if you are from far away and find yourself coming this way, let us know.   We won't have walk in traffic at the house, but we might be able to work something out to greet a creative pal if schedule permits.

SPEAKING OF WHICH!

I believe I mentioned in my last newsletter that Katie Oskin was coming to teach via YouTube this Friday!

WRONG!

Katie will be coming NEXT Friday, June 12th, for video.

This may possibly be the last video we do in the shop building but the set will be the same, just moving it....

Stay tuned!

Toby thought he'd take his Work Table Wednesday tray over to a sunny window....

and get a little more light on the subject!

Me....what did I get done today?

This photo I found in my old Blackberry file says it all....

I think you get the point!  LOL

And I think I should get some stuff and make some more of those brooches!

They express the feelings of many, well!  What a conversation starter!

Ingrid Anderson of LilisGems had a big table:

Delyssa Maxwell has a great start with the components on her table:

Another Great Luna Moth from Christi Friesen's Tutorial....

This one is from Teresa Schurter:

That is really gorgeous, it just glows.

I bet he sells it really fast!

That guy looks like a very special stamping I had many moons ago....

Spectacular job, Teresa!

We had some great work with that last tutorial.

Bits of this and that....

When I was going through that old Blackberry photo file I found pix of a couple designs I still a long time ago and really loved....

The beads are all polymer clay and the rest is hand-tinted brass....

We used this one in some magazine advertising (for which of course we paid beaucoups of money, LOL!)

and then there was this one...

I believe I made this one in one of my early assemblage videos.

At one pt I approached the current editor of one of the jewelry making magazines by email (you can do that on some of them, they'll allow you to send a few pix and a brief query)

And she said this piece was waaay too fussy for their publication...

Which of course now is full of stuff like this.

OH WELL.   Maybe I was before my time!  LOL

All I can say is, I have joy in my little corner of the mixed media universe and happy to be there....with many of you, every day online.

And this was SUCH a fun necklace to make.  I can't wait to make a bunch more!

So again.....

Why not come join us at the B'sue Boutiques Creative Group

Even if you are new to jewelry making or feel a little shy to post your own pix, come and enjoy ours and the discussion at the B'sue Boutiques Creative Group.

It's like going to a free class every day!   Consider this your personal invitation.

Many got to take advantage of the great discount last week....

But all good things must come to an end.   That code is now expired.

Jordan said, Oh COME ON, we need to have a good new one!

I said, okay, we'll do that and the discounts can come out of your paycheck!  LOL

NOT REALLY!

Jordan might look goofy in that photo, but he's not.

He knows our customers need great stuff and great values.

SO:   Through SUNDAY at the time the newsletter comes out, use code JORDAN in the ***coupon box**** when your order is 60.00 or more....

and you will get TEN DOLLARS off your order.

(At 50.00 you can use FIVEBUCKS and ask for FREE STUFF....just  please no code stacking, just choose the one that best suits your order.   We can honor only one code. Thanks!)

Go up to 100.00 and you'll automatically get another 10% off!  AND, FREE US SHIPPING!

With our quality line and perks, it just adds up to B'sue Boutiques is a GREAT place to shop!
