The SHIRZAN Design Contest Now Open!

Artists, we're thrilled to announce the IAWF T-Shirt Design Challenge honoring "SHIRZAN". This is your chance to transform the stories of courageous Iranian women into wearable art, while supporting The Shirzan Scholarship Fund for female Immigrant Students.

Reflecting on Our Empowering Women's Health Event

What an incredible turnout we had at our Women's Health Event on November 8, 2023! Hosted by the LA Rising Leaders Chapter, this gathering was a testament to the power of community and the shared commitment to improving women's health.

Our panel of experts delivered insightful discussions on hormonal, reproductive, and breast health. The Q/A session was particularly enlightening—so many great questions and discussions!

A Revolution on Canvas:

Sold Out in Under 48 Hours!

We're thrilled to announce that the exclusive premiere of "A Revolution on Canvas," hosted by the Iranian American Women Foundation's New York Chapter, has sold out in under 48 hours! We're excited to welcome those who secured their tickets to this red-carpet event on December 1, 2023.

The evening will feature special guests and an after-party, with an insightful Q&A session with filmmakers Sara Nodjoumi and Till Schauder, subjects of the film Nickzad Nodjoumi and Nahid Hagigat, composer Sussan Deyhim, and moderator, renowned filmmaker and artist Shirin Neshat.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who showed such enthusiastic support for this event, for those who missed out on tickets, stay tuned! We'll be hosting more exciting events in the future.

Upcoming Event: A Good Day to Me, Not to You

Mark your calendars for an exclusive evening to remember! IAWF NY Chapter and Waterwell are delighted to invite you to join us for our latest production of "A Good Day to Me, Not to You" by and starring Lameece Issaq, and directed by Lee Sunday Evans.

This special event will take place on December 7, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the Connelly Theater, 220 E 4th St, New York, NY 10009.

We're excited to announce that IAWF founder, Mariam Khosravani, will be joining us for the evening.
