OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

It’s that time of year again! Filling these boxes will allow for the less fortunate children around the world to receive a Christmas gift.100 Operation Christmas Child boxes have been assembled and placed in the Fellowship Hall. The cost of shipping this year is $10 and the due date is Sunday, November 13.

VERITAS ACADEMY'S 25th ANNIVERSARY GALA

Veritas Academy invites members of the Independent Presbyterian Church to attend our 25th Anniversary Gala on October 21, 2022. Our "Legacy of Truth" Gala will be held at the Salzburg Ballroom at the JW Marriott Plant Riverside. The evening will feature a legacy reception, student presentations, a benefit auction, and a keynote address from Dr. Burk Parsons, senior pastor of Saint Andrew’s Chapel in Sanford, Florida, editor of Tabletalk, a Ligonier Ministries teaching fellow, and a visiting lecturer at Reformed Theological Seminary.

WOC FALL BIBLE STUDY

Interested in joining this year's Women of the Church Fall Bible study? It will take place at two separate times: Tuesday mornings, from 9:30-11:00 AM in Telfair Hall or on Zoom; and Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-7:45 PM in the Whitaker Building, first floor. WOC GATHER TO PRAY

All ladies are once again invited to join together on Thursday afternoons at Three Tree Coffee (215 W. Collins St. Pooler) for a time of fellowship and prayer. The time has changed to 4:15 PM and will last until 5 PM. It began August 18th. Please join if you are able!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Fall Sunday School quarter begins at the new time (9:00 AM - 9:40 AM). For details about your Sunday school class, visit the website. This quarter is not elective, so you will return to the class that corresponds to your age.

BIBLE READING PLAN FOR 2022

For 2022, we will offer the Ligonier Tabletalk Bible reading plan. Hard copies will be available on Sundays and in the church office, you can use the provided pdf or utilize the Ligonier app on your smartphone or tablet. The TableTalk Reading plan has two readings each day, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament. We trust that this plan will help you develop a healthy habit of reading your Bible daily. Ligonier also offers a variety of reading plans designed to help you prioritize reading God's word daily.
