Upcoming Scheduled Lane and Ramp Closures

April 19-26

Motorists can anticipate the following scheduled lane and ramp closures below as contractor crews continue to complete work along the corridor. All construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Motorists can anticipate the following multi-lane closure:

  • I-64 east at the High Rise Bridge April 19 9:00 p.m.- 5:00 a.m., including brief, intermittent stoppages.


Motorists can also anticipate the following overnight alternating, single-lane closures:

  • I-64 in both directions from Bowers Hill to the Shell Road overpass (approximate mile marker 295) April 19-28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • I-64 east from Greenbrier Parkway (exit 289) to the High Rise Bridge April 19-28 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • I-64 west from the High Rise Bridge to Battlefield Boulevard (exit 290) April 19-28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.


Motorists can also anticipate the following overnight single-lane closure:

  • Military Highway north at the I-64 interchange (between Cavalier Boulevard and Galberry Road) April 22-25 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Motorists should anticipate the following scheduled daytime closure and detour:

Motorists should also anticipate the following scheduled overnight closures and detours:

Overnight closure and detour of the off-ramp from I-64 east to George Washington Highway south (exit 296B) April 20-22 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
