Riverside – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues operations on a pavement rehabilitation project from Desert Center (PM 104.9) to west of Wiley’s Well Rest Area (PM 134) on Interstate 10 (I-10). Weather permitting.

Holiday schedule: No lane closures until January 16 at 6:00 p.m. (Emergency closures are exception/work can take place behind k-rail)

Regular hours: Monday - Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

• 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. nightly - Closure of  eastbound lane 1 on the I-10 will be in place at Corn Springs Road. Motorists are advised to slow for the merging traffic and use caution throughout the area.

• Day and night eastbound/westbound intermittent lane closures near Ford Dry Lake for k-rail relocation.



• Through January 19 eastbound Corn Springs Road on and off ramps will be closed for reconstruction of the ramps.

EB detour lanes in place: Eastbound traffic has been shifted from the I-10 eastbound mainline to the temporary eastbound detour road from Desert Center to Alta Ditch.
