We have been informed
that the DNR will be conducting the scheduled fourth and final Hydrilla herbicide treatment of the year this coming Monday, August 22nd. The treatment will start at approximately 8am at the yacht club on Turkey Neck and, barring any unforeseeable issues, should be finished by 2pm. The DNR asks that boaters stay clear of the applicator boat while it is in operation. DNR representative, Julie Bortz, MDNR Natural Resource Biologist, will be on the water in the DNR black and white boat as well as NRP support to help remind people to steer clear of the applicator boat.
