On Friday May 10th AgriLife Staff and volunteers conducted a Science of Ag Day at PTTA.

Over 400 kindergarten through fifth grade students, rotated through stations learning all about electrical safety and how agriculture impacts their daily lives.


Thank you to our wonderful volunteers and

4-H members who took time out of their busy schedules to help make this event happen!



Lamb and Goat Validation for State Fair will be June 24th from 9am to 11am at the Hunt County Fairgrounds.


If you need late tags please find tag order forms HERE and turn in order form and payment to the Hunt County Extension Office ASAP!



All animals MUST be present at validation!

The District IV Ultra Leadership Lab is a three-day and two-night leadership training for District IV 4-H members. It will be an opportunity for the youth to build their leadership skills, gain information they can take back to their county clubs to enhance their programs, and have fun meeting and interacting with other youth across our district.

Don't miss your chance to learn about these fascinating creatures and explore the world of insects. Registration will be open until May 20th, with late registration open until May 24th. It's your last chance to sign up for the second Teen Ambassador Training! This training is for youth to understand their role as a camp ambassador, create camp themes and activities, earn volunteer hours, and participate in team building activities.
