Hunt County 4-H was well represented at the

Hunt County Fair and Livestock Show this past week!

We had approximately 80 exhibitors showing livestock and competing in various creative arts events.

The District IV Ultra Leadership Lab is a three-day and two-night leadership training for District IV 4-H members. It will be an opportunity for the youth to build their leadership skills, gain information they can take back to their county clubs to enhance their programs, and have fun meeting and interacting with other youth across our district.

Tractor Supply is doing their annual Paper Clover Campaign from now until May 5th!


Funds raised through the Paper Clover Campaign are used for leadership opportunities for the 4-H program.

Our friends over at Prairie View A&M are hosting a FREE State Photography Contest!


This contest is SEPERATE from the Texas 4-H State Photography Contest and is open to Junior and Intermediate members ONLY!

County Recordbook Contest:


Due to the District Recordbook Contest shifting forward a week from last years contest, County Recordbooks will be DUE to the Extension Office

May 17th by noon.


The 2024 Texas 4-H Virtual Reel ‘Em In Fishing Skill-a-thon has released the rules the Summer tournament. Registration for the Summer tournament opens on May 1str, 2024, and the tournament begins on June 15. For a complete explanation of this fun event, and a list of important dates, visit the event page. You will also find some good tips and many resources to help you land the big one!
