Duluth Food Pantry offers 10,000 pounds of fresh produce

40 volunteers working in two shifts were on-hand last Saturday to receive, sort, and pack a 10,000 pound delivery from The Atlanta Community Food Bank. The bags of carrots, bell peppers, onions, potatoes, and zucchini were added to the pantry’s weekly distribution. The Duluth Food Pantry team feeds nearly 200 families per month with food staples, canned meats, canned vegetables, and rotating supplies. We thank the Atlanta Community Food Bank and all the dedicated volunteers who added fresh produce to what we can offer to families facing the grim realities of food insecurity in the Atlanta area.

Final day for Qurbani Service is June 9th

Humanity First USA is once again offering Qurbani Service for our esteemed donors to fulfill their Eid-ul-Adha Qurbani requirements to provide nutritious meat to people in need for the holiday.

Your qurbani will benefit deserving people in West Africa and Asia where there is significant need, and people count on this meat from Humanity First. Beneficiaries include families of children at HF schools, needy patients at our healthcare facilities, the homeless and destitute, widows and orphans, prisoners, refugees, and displaced populations.

Contribute now before Sunday, June 9th, 2024 so that we can give the meat to beneficiaries before Eid-ul-Adha on June 17th.

Nasir Hospital Expansion!

The Nasir Hospital Phase 1 expansion is well underway. Due to high demand for the high-quality care offered at Nasir Hospital, this first phase of expansion is focused on adding patient capacity. These 8 single-occupancy in-patient rooms will allow us to significantly grow patient care under 28 medical specialities.
