Attention Provider:
The New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD) has launched the first phase of what will become the new YES.NM.GOV for New Mexicans to access resources, apply for, and manage their health and human services benefits.
The new website YES.NM.GOV will be the first-of-a-kind portal for customers and providers to access the state’s health and human services benefits, resources, and information. YES.NM.GOV will serve as the one-stop shop for New Mexicans to learn about, apply, and manage their benefits from five state agencies; NM’s Aging and Long-Term Services Department, Children Youth and Families Department, Department of Health, Early Childhood Education and Care Department, and the Human Services Department.
HSD’s Behavioral Health Services Division site is the first available to the public beginning Thursday July 28. The site is designed to connect with customers and providers in the easiest and most accessible ways for them. It features the Get Help Now page to access resources about crisis support, and resources for providers; such as available competitive funding awards and professional development opportunities.
The public can find programs, such as the Office of Peer Recovery & Engagement, and the New Mexico Opioid Hub. New Mexicans will be able to easily locate the nearest crisis center, find hope with a positive peer story, or find out how to become a Certified Peer Support Worker. YES.NM.GOV is created with multilingual functionality, and it has the ability to be translated into Spanish, Vietnamese and simplified Chinese.
The YES.NM.GOV project is part of HSD’s larger initiative, the Medicaid Management Information System Replacement (MMIS-R) project, and it will gradually integrate the five state agencies for full completion by March, 2023.
The next generation Yes New Mexico at YES.NM.GOV will phase in for health and human services customers between 2022 and 2023. The current Yes New Mexico site YES.STATE.NM.US will continue to fully serve HSD customers until the transition to the new one-stop shop for NM health and human services in 2023.
