Congratulations to the Nampa Parks & Recreation team and the many volunteers who have worked behind the scenes over recent years to open Huckleberry Dog Park! Huckleberry Dog Park is Nampa's second dog park and is located off Smith Avenue between Middleton and Midway Roads (2900 2nd Street South).

Thank you to all who attended the grand opening event. We hope both humans and dogs enjoy the park for years to come!

The City of Nampa Street Division has begun chip sealing streets in the north section of Nampa. Thirty-eight (38) road sections will be chip sealed. We are including 18 subdivisions this year and will be chip sealed last.

We recently ran into Nampa's Urban Sketchers in downtown Nampa as they were sketching the Nampa Train Depot! Nampa's Urban Sketchers are a part of the Nampa Art Guild, a non-profit organization of artists from across the Treasure Valley. The Nampa Art Guild gathers to paint and support fellow artists in their creative endeavors and meets every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. from September through May -- they are open to new members.
