This July 4th, let's remember the importance of accessible voting for all Americans. 🗳️ Ensuring everyone can participate independently strengthens our democracy.
Accessible voting is the law, and it applies to both in-person voting and voting by mail. All of Florida's 67 counties have an accessible vote-by-mail program that enables voters with disabilities to fill out their ballots using their own technology from the comfort of their homes.
To educate voters about how to use accessible vote-by-mail, we are proud to share our newest voting videos! These videos explain how Florida's accessible vote-by-mail programs work, discuss your rights as a voter with a disability, and emphasize the importance of the disability vote.
For more information about voting with a disability, visit DisabilityRightsFlorida.org or AccessTheVote.org.
The videos were made by Disability Rights Florida in collaboration Access The Vote Florida, Democracy Live, Enhanced Voting, American Association of People with Disabilities, Administration for Community Living, and Block by Block Creative.
