As the November election approaches and the public is becoming more concerned about bad actors' potential efforts to subvert the election, we’ve been getting questions about the breaches of Georgia’s statewide voting system that began in  Coffee County.

How was  it was that CGG unearthed those breaches and exposed them to the press and public? What have officials done to mitigate the risk from the theft of the state’s voting software? What is being done to safeguard November’s election?

We’ve made a short video to give you an overview of the story. At the end, there is a link to a memo with extensive background materials.

Our tireless volunteer research team provided invaluable assistance to  CGG’s attorneys who issued subpoenas and took many depositions to extract and expose the evidence of the unlawful copying and distribution of the state’s voting software. (Investigations the Secretary of State and State Election Board declined to conduct.)

Our attorneys invested hundreds of unpaid hours, gathering the Coffee evidence long after their efforts exceeded our very limited budget, as Coffee County and the perpetrators fought many of our discovery efforts. In short, CGG’s and co-plaintiffs’ legal teams made the substantial heavy personal investment and sacrifice to uncover these crimes when the Secretary of State and State Election Board, with ample public funding, looked the other way.

We hope you recognize the extraordinarily valuable work CGG’s attorneys have done in the public interest, greatly exceeding what CGG could pay when the work was needed.  Please give generously with a tax deductible donation to support our attempts to pay down some of what we owe our dedicated attorneys who selflessly got the very difficult job done!

We plan to release more video updates of our work to raise public awareness of the urgent need to secure Georgia’s voting system, and the efforts we are making to hold Coffee County officials accountable for permitting and concealing the breach of the statewide system.
