*The easiest way to make it down wind in the surf is on a surf board, but we've also done this ride many times on twin-tip boards. The key is to choose a board you're comfortable with and can get back in deep water. A float vest, hydration pack, booties, cell phone dry bag, etc. We have many items you may need for the ride at the XLKITES shop...we posted a few of them below.
