HUD Publishes "Get NSPIRED" Newsletter
|
On February 18th, REAC published its inaugural issue of "Get NSPIRED," a newsletter highlighting the new inspection model "NSPIRE", which aims to "bring more objective standards, value added inspection protocols, and scoring elements" to its physical inspection standards. In order to increase resident input into the inspection process, REAC plans to inspect 5 additional units that are identified by a resident group or selected via a risk model. MAP Closing Guide Chapter 19 Posted for Comment
|
FHA posted the revised Chapter 19 MAP Closing Guide to the Multifamily Drafting Table for comment. The updates incorporate current policy and processing changes since 2016, and join the revised Chapter 1 (Introduction), Chapter 10 (Management Analysis), and Chapter 14 (LIHTC Guidance), which FHA released in the fall of 2019. Comments are due on the drafting table by February 28, 2020.
