House Church Sunday (10am)

5 Locations - Buford, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Sugar Hill & Suwanee

We are NOT meeting this Sunday at Monkey Wrench Brewing

Good News Family & Friends,

We're excited about House Church THIS Sunday, June 23 (10am) at 5 locations around Gwinnett County. To find your suggested location and all the details, click here.

This past Sunday, Jimmy Greer shared his personal story of broken relationship with his father and how God brought healing to his heart as Jimmy experienced the fatherhood of God. It was an amazing story. If you missed it or if you want to hear it again, click here.

This is one of the most fun Sundays of the summer, so find a location, bring a breakfast item to share (optional), dress casual comfortable, and enjoy a great morning of coffee, breakfast, connection, and worship in a home. A good handful of people in our church first connected at one of our House Church gatherings, so House Church is truly a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors. Quotes of the Week

"'Our Father in heaven' (Matt. 6:9) teaches us to draw near to God with all holy reverence and confidence, as children to a father, able and ready to help us." - Westminster Shorter Catechism

Verse of the Week

"And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don’t even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father, who knows all hearts knows what the spirit is saying. For the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. - Romans 8:26,27

The vision of Good News Church GA is "to experience and express LOVE from God to others." The verse that undergirds our vision is Galatians 5:5b, “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” We value people, community, relationships, prayer, and Bible reading. We also value being able to be yourself. We’re all struggling with something, so there’s no need to pretend that we have it all together.

The mission of Good News Church GA is "to connect with people and build relationships through community workshops, neighborhood-focused ministry, serving local needs, mentoring, and worship."

Monkey Wrench just introduced these two new clubs - the Tiki Club and the Backstage Pass Club. For $75/per year, you'll receive $2 off your first beverage each visit, drink from these larger glasses (better value), and you'll get to take home one of these cool glasses (see image below). These are great gifts for others or for yourself. Club memberships are available for purchase in store only. For more info, email Wayne.
