THIS Saturday, July 20 - Good News At Noon" Homeless Ministry (11am)
Good News at Noon is a local homeless ministry in the Gainesville area where we serve monthly by helping to serve lunch on the 3rd Saturday each month. This is a fantastic family serving opportunity! For more information or if you'd like to join us, click here.
NEXT Wednesday, July 24 - Summer Student Gathering (6pm)
All students (middle and high) and young adults (college and twenties) are invited to join us for this second of two Summer Student Gatherings next week on Wednesday, July 24 (6pm - 8:30pm) where we’ll have dinner, fun, conversation about faith and life. THIS PAST WEEK
This past Sunday, Joe Song preached a fantastic message on "God, Our Provider." Joe also shared a bit about his story and how he and his wife, Grace, found Good News Church. It's a great story! To access the audio of Joe's message, click here.
This past Saturday, we had a great day with 15 elementary students at our first ever "Camp Hillside!" Of those 15 kids, 8 were first time guests to Good News Church GA! HOUSE CHURCH THIS SUNDAY, JULY 21 (10am)
This is one of the most fun Sundays of the summer, so find a location, bring a breakfast item to share (optional), dress casual comfortable, and enjoy a great morning of coffee, breakfast, connection, and worship in a home. A good handful of people in our church first connected at one of our House Church gatherings, so House Church is truly a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors. NEW! Volunteer for Good News Club at Sugar Hill Elementary
Good News Church GA sponsors the after-school Good News Club at Sugar Hill Elementary (2nd - 5th grade students). It's a lot of fun and will meet on Wednesdays (2:30pm - 4:30pm) starting September 11th. Volunteering is easy, fun, and great for adults, high school, and college aged students. We're building our volunteer team for the 2024-2025 school year. Good News Church GA volunteers include Drue Warner, Micah Warner, Jeff Braun, Cravens Doggett, and YOU! :) For details, click here.
NEW! Alpha @ Elixir Brew Co. - Starts on Tuesday, September 10 (6pm - 8pm)
Good News Church GA and Riverstone Vineyard Church (Buford) are excited to be partnering with Elixir Brew Co. to offer the Alpha Video Series, a fantastic, multi-week video-based series, in which we gather for food, drinks, and conversation, and then watch and discuss a 30-minute video each week. The verse that undergirds our vision is Galatians 5:5b, “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” We value people, community, relationships, prayer, and Bible reading. We also value being able to be yourself. We’re all struggling with something, so there’s no need to pretend that we have it all together.
