Expressive Arts Program: Eunoia Equine Assisted Learning And Wellness

On Friday, June 21st, the Hospice hosted our much-anticipated Spring 2024 Expressive Arts Program at Eunoia Equine Assisted Learning and Wellness.

Against the backdrop of serene surroundings, fifteen individuals coping with grief enjoyed an amazing day at the retreat. The program provided them with the opportunity to engage deeply with horses, immerse themselves in nature, foster meaningful connections with fellow participants, and, perhaps most importantly, discover more about themselves.

Reflecting on the experience, one participant eloquently expressed, "Today was awesome! It’s hard to describe how great it made me feel to be connecting with the horses”

We'll share additional photos from the day on our social media in the coming weeks. If you'd like to learn more about our Expressive Arts Program, please visit our website here.

United Way Funding for Community Bereavement Boxes

We are thrilled to announce that we have received a generous grant from United Way Calgary and Area, which will support our Community Bereavement Boxes initiative.

These boxes are thoughtfully prepared by volunteers and include important tools and resources designed to provide comfort and support to individuals and families coping with the loss of a loved one.

This funding will allow us to reach more members of our community, ensuring that no one has to navigate their grief journey alone. We are deeply grateful to United Way Calgary and Area for their commitment to helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are grieving.
