Every day we save more pets, and once they receive their check-up, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and microchip they are ready for adoption.

Anthem Pets has two pet adoption events this weekend, on Saturday at Pet Planet Litchfield Marketplace (13760 W Camelback Rd, Suite 30 - Litchfield Park) and Sunday at Pet Planet Lake Pleasant Crossing (25355 N Lake Pleasant Pkwy, Suite A-101 - Peoria). Both events will run from 11 am - 3 pm. Come out and meet some of our beautiful dogs, cats and kittens

Everyone is invited to the Anthem Pets Community Meeting on Thursday, June 22 from 6 – 7 pm at the Anthem Civic Building, 3701 Anthem Way.

Please join us to discuss where we are, where we’re going and where you fit in. Bring your ideas and questions.

❤️ HOSPICE FOSTER NEEDED ❤️

Arroyo is the sweetest cat you'd ever meet, but sadly and he has FeLV with cancer markers and we need a special person to act as a Hospice Foster, or Foster to Adopt.

He has lived well beyond expectations, and we hope that someone will give him a home with love and gentle touches where he can enjoy the time he has left.

Arroyo cannot be in a home with other cats, however FeLV cannot be passed to humans, dogs or other animals. Anthem Pets will cover any vet expenses, however you may be asked to take him to Daisy Mountain Vet in Anthem if needed. Please text 480-287-3542 if you can help Arroyo.

Please donate needed KITTEN & CAT SUPPLIES during our month-long event. Locally, supplies can be dropped at the front desk at the Anthem Community Center, 41130 N. Freedom Way and if you don’t live in Anthem, supplies can be ordered at any time from our Amazon Wish List. Urgently needed supplies include Kitten WET Food, Cat & Kitten Dry Food, and Clumping Kitty Litter.

Friday: 5 am–8 pm

$4 MICROCHIPS: To help pet owners avoid the nightmare of searching for a missing pet, the MCACC is hosting a “Stars, Stripes, and Microchips” event from June 15 - 30. Click here for more details.

Microchips will be provided from 10:30 am-11:30 am, Monday-Friday at both shelter locations. The $4 microchips will not be provided on weekends.
