8th Grade Families: You are invited to join us on Friday, May 24th for 8th Grade Celebration! This informal celebration welcomes the students to high school! The 45-minute activity will include celebration speeches and the presentation of the "baby photo" video. 



Details:

• Friday, May 24 at 4 p.m. in the Horizon Honors Gymnasium
• Tickets are required. Each 8th Grade Student will receive 4 tickets for the event. Extra tickets are not available.
• 8th Grade Horizon Honors students do NOT need a ticket.
• Doors will open at 3:30 pm. No lineups before 3:30 pm will be permitted.
• Dress is informal. However, students must be in dress code. 
• Students will enter the celebration and sit with their family members or their friends. There is no student procession or student seating area.
• 8th Grade Promotion Certificates will NOT be distributed at this event. Students will receive them during school hours during the last few days of school.
• Can't make the event? The "baby photo" video will be shared via email after the celebration.
• The Horizon Honors backdrops will be available for photo opportunities before and after the celebration.

Tickets will be given to students during the last week of school.

BOOK FAIR SUCCESS!

Thank you all for the amazing support of all of the Book Fairs this year! We were able to help teachers build their classroom libraries and purchase many new books in the school Library! We appreciate all of the volunteers who have helped out throughout the school year!

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CAMP

The Volleyball Skills Camp is open to all girls in 8th through 11th Grade who plan to play volleyball in the 2024-2025 school year. The Volleyball Skills Camp is June 17-19th from 9 am to 3 pm. The deadline to sign up is May 26th. To sign up please go to PowerSchool.

GRADES K-11 SCHOOL PICTURES: FINAL CHANCE!

The last day to order late package prints from the 2023-2024 school year is Saturday, May 18. The prints will be mailed to your home for a $7 shipping fee. Digital download orders can be ordered through June 30, 2024.  All images will be purged on July 1, 2024, and will no longer be available for purchase. If you have any challenges accessing your child’s shoot key, please email customerservice@schoolpicsaz.com. Include your child’s school, name, and teacher, and they will reply back with the key. Do NOT call the school with questions regarding school pictures.
