The Hopkinsville Small Business Commission has released a Small Business Resource Guide for New and Expanding Businesses in the city.

Wednesday will be focused on military and first responders as the Western Kentucky State Fair continues at the fair grounds in Hopkinsville. Tuesday 2,972 people passed through the gates of the fair for Pennyrile Electric Day.

The staff at Kentucky Dam say, the historic 75-year-old structure is ready to help meet peak power demands across the region this summer and throughout the year.

The Ms. Plus Western Kentucky State Fair Pageant was begun 11 years ago to give women and young ladies who aren't pageant regulars a chance to shine on the convention center's main stage.
