This show tells the story of Elphaba (Wicked Witch of the West) and Galinda (Glinda the Good Witch), whose friendship struggles through their opposing personalities, viewpoints, same love interest, reactions to the Wonderful Wizard's corrupt government, and, ultimately...Elphaba's fall from grace.

Hopewell Township Clean Sweep Day

Hopewell Township Public Works Building | April 13


Hopewell Township Clean Sweep Day is on Saturday, April 13th, rain or shine. Meet at the Public Works building at 9am. Your group will receive protective gear, the tools needed, and an assigned area. Be sure to bring water, snacks, and sunscreen!

AACA Museum and Hershey History

Hershey, PA | April 17


Join us for a "Sweet Day" in Hershey, PA! Our first stop will be at the Antique Automobile Club of America where we will see the Muscle Cars Past & Present exhibit. Next we head to the Hotel Hershey for lunch. Then on to Hershey's Chocolate World, finishing at the Hershey Historic Trolley Works. A fun day!

Township News and Announcements

Household recycling MUST be placed in official Mercer County buckets to be picked up


MCIA will no longer pick up recycling in anyt other type of can. Cardboard boxes filled with other flat cardboard is still OK. Buckets are available at no charge from Public Works. Stop by during business hours, 7:30am - 3:30pm.

Bulk Waste pickup starts April 8

Get your fees in now!


Hopewell Township Public Works picks up Bulk Waste twice a year, by zone, in April and September. To get on the schedule for pickup, your fee of $50 needs to be paid to Public Works by the Wednesday prior to your week. View the Collection Zone Map (PDF) or Street List (PDF) to determine which zone you are in.

Are you a hunter? Apply for your 2024-25 Hopewell Township permit through May 1!


Hopewell Township will be accepting individual permit applications for the Township’s municipal Deer Management program for the 2024-25 hunting season March 1- May 1. All applicants must be fourteen (14) years or older, have a valid New Jersey hunting license, and maintain $1 Million general liability insurance for the entire hunting season..
