We remember the new addition of masks to everyday activities. We remember the gradual shut down of schools, gyms, and other local businesses. We remember the fear regarding which community would be the next COVID hot spot. We remember both the hope and skepticism that prevailed when the first vaccines were introduced."

FSU PrimaryHealth™ Building Named in Honor of Dr. Daniel Van Durme

Last Thursday, May 30, 2024, FAFP leaders, Drs. Littles, Strong, & Brown-Speights, attended the dedication ceremony of the FSU PrimaryHealth™ Building in memory of Dr. Daniel Van Durme.

“No one was more proud of this facility and its impact on this community than Dr. Dan Van Durme,” said Dr. Littles who serves as the Interim Dean of the FSU College of Medicine. “His vision for, and commitment to, developing a teaching clinic that would serve patients who did not always have access to care, and provide a practice site where students could learn the art and science of medicine, was central to FSU PrimaryHealth™ becoming a reality.” Click here to read more.
